Singapore’s Changi airport is one of the world’s top ten airports. The airport connects customers to over 200 destinations worldwide, with 5,000 arrivals and departures a week by 80 international airlines.
It was sometime in early February this year that I read about Asia’s largest airshow to be held in Singapore. Sure enough, I did not want to miss it. Touted as an exhibition event, the Singapore airshow began in 2008 and is an event that takes place every two years. I was lucky enough to be in Singapore at the right time and place.
Attended by more than 1,000 aviation companies from about 50 countries, the event was attended by an equally large audience. And why not ? Death-defying stunts, twists and turns, fancy moves, roaring engines and power packed performance enchanted us. An exhibition of air crafts followed. I even had the opportunity to interact with pilots and click pictures with them.
Feb 21, 2016 was definitely a day to remember.
