Old t-shirts, greeting cards or postcards are always lying around every home. Before you think of throwing them away, consider this. Cut out images from t-shirts and cards and frame them on your wall.
If you are a collector of horseshoes and have multiple lying around, use it to form a pattern that will fill up your wall.
4.) Paper cuttings
Use the skills you learnt as a child in school. With only paper and scissors, you can make butterflies, flowers, hearts, just about anything and then use your creativity to make a pretty design.

8.) Bring outdoor furnishing inside
Looking for a change? Bring furniture kept outside the house to the inside. This may include plants kept outside or a wicker chair. Once you are bored with the look you can keep it back outside.
9.) Magazines and Newspapers
This is my personal favorite. We all have these lying around in bundles. While giving them for recycling is the best option, you can also use these to decorate your home. There are multiple ways you can use them. Stack up magazines and use it as a surface to keep a flower vase or just put them up on hangers on a wall.
Old maps can make for good wall decor and you can also show off all the cities and countries you have visited.

Frames with nothing in them can also look cool. Design them in different ways, make a pattern and see them light up your walls.
Ever thought plates could be used as home decor? Think again. You can use plates with designs or paint on a white plate yourself.

Use existing stationery to make a pretty wall decor. You can also use pen stands and hang them on the wall.
15.) Mix it up
Use a combination of things. Use tit bits and leftovers to randomly place them all over the wall.
